I’m sure you disagree with my pacifist convictions in one or way or another. But, granted concerns with privacy and misuse are addressed, we can all agree we want a society with less force. A society that leans less on force means you can have less fear about that force applied to you. There’s many example in the US, and even more abroad, of deadly force being misapplied to innocents. Just in the past year in the United States we’ve had several ICE shootings of individuals who did not need to be countered with lethal force. Frankly, this may even decrease some risk of specific outlets of authoritarianism - there’s a bit less on the line if the government will straight up never kill you, no matter how “against the state” you may be (this, of course, assumes the state does play by “no killing” rules, but at least this is plausible)
